Vertical streetscape.
Set amidst a street block containing a series of charming post-war shophouses in the historical city of George Town, the development seeks to preserve the intimacy of the outer streetscape, while creating a denser inner core. An internal street forms the main thoroughfare of the commercial podium, while the hotel and apartment blocks extracts the nooks and crannies of the streetscape - forecourts, verandahs, alleyways, and applies these pockets of spaces vertically into the hi-rise blocks.
